Solution for Overpopulation.

In the present world, stopping population increase is essential to defeating issues like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, economic sluggishness, etc. The benefits of sophisticated technology and the nation's developing progress will only be absorbed by the population growth. Therefore, the following steps should be taken to stop the population's unsustainable growth:

  • Family planning: A decent, affluent society must have healthy citizens whose numbers correspond to the wealth of the nation. Modern family planning techniques and strategies should be used for this. The government, NGOs, and civil society should effectively spread them.
  • Increase in Marriage Age: Raising the minimum age of marriage is a good idea for both boys and girls. In India, the age of marriage has been set at 18 for girls and 21 for boys. It should be strictly followed in every state. We need a strong political will to accomplish this, together with an efficient system of governance.
  • Balanced ratio: The population's quality needs to be improved as well. There should be at least a five-year age difference between siblings, and no more than two children per family.
  • Enhancement of public health services: In order to boost human potential for economic growth, it is important to pay attention to public health and cleanliness. The importance of a clean, pollution-free environment in both urban and rural areas should be emphasised in every state.
  • Need for Education: Education is necessary to better the situation of farmers, who also need to be connected to some cooperatives. The farmers continue to have access to opportunities to learn about loans, appropriate agricultural practises, education, and technology thanks to the assistance of the government, cooperatives, and other helpful institutions. Thus, they come to understand that being illiterate is a curse that only results in poverty and ruin.
  • Proper industrialization: Industrialization needs to happen quickly in regions where it has not yet occurred. Small businesses should be supported because they create the vital connections and coordination between large-scale industry and agriculture, as well as between rural and urban income. They also generate alternative sources of income by closing the gap.
  • Government policies that are appropriate: More resources should be allocated to employment, entertainment, and education. Our government must implement public policies that not only restrain unrestrained population increase but also prevent unbridled population migration and an increasing concentration of people in metropolitan regions. In order to achieve the ideal demographic mix, sufficient resources should be used along with ample room and a sturdy infrastructure.
  • Promoting family planning: The most effective way to regulate the population is to educate people about contraception and birth control methods. To solve the overpopulation issue, we must educate individuals about the advantages and techniques of family planning.
People will take action to stop population growth if they realise that unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, bad living conditions, resource depletion, and environmental issues are all caused by population growth.
